05/31/02 - 11:50 PM - You may notice some changes to the website. I did a good deal of work on it today. For one I changed the photo page to a slide show style. I also added something that should help out for people with comments. I added a message board! I admit I didn't code it myself. Instead I just signed up for it until I get a chance to learn how to do it myself. Eitherway you can go there and post comments just like a regular message board. You can also leave your email address which only I can read if you want a reply. So go ahead and click on the link to the left and post your thoughts.

05/31/02 - 1:35 PM - I made a short clip that is just the camera panning around the freeway wreckage. Nothing fancy but it gives a good all around perspective of what the freeway looks like. Freeway pan video

05/30/02 - 9:17 PM - I've updated the freeway, now you can see that down nearer to the end it is crumbled and destroyed while the area close to the camera is still intact but worn. I added the grass again, and kept the sun W/ the lens flare. This is pretty much the final stage before the robot actually hits it. Final freeway overpass

05/29/02 - 11:35 PM - Well if you saw the clips where the robot landed on the roadway and it shattered beneath him, well I decided to change it. Here is a quick screen shot of an early version. Freeway prototype

05/20/02 - 9:58 AM - Just lettin ya know I'm still alive, I'm just knee deep in finals here and haven't had time to do anything at all. I will startup work again in a few days. So until then.....cheers.

05/09/02 - 7:11 PM - Here is a ten second video clip of just some grass blowin, I think it looks pretty snazy Grass a blowin in the breeze.

05/09/02 -12:03 PM - Ok well I'm pretty happy with this. I decided that I wanted to add alittle bit of variety to the fore ground. I decided to put some grass, like wheat, out there and let it sway in the breeze a bit. I rather like the way it turned out. Robot landing with grass

05/08/02 - 1:38 AM - Here are a few color stills from the landing scene video, shows the sky box and some dark whisps of clouds, just basic stuff from two different angles.crater color angle1 crater color angle2

05/08/02 - 1:14 AM - Mike's pictures are up of their bike trip to Utah if you are interested click on the Mike's corner link

05/06/02 - 9:20 PM - New video up of the landing scene. This one is in color and uses my basic sky box with some clouds, tell me what you think. Keep in mind there should be a bit of a sand storm and maybe a few little plants or something. Entry crater revised

05/06/02 - 1:53 AM - Well there is another new section over on the right, the link section. One of them is Mike's corner which is just a link to some stuff I put up for my brother and the other is my buddy Ben's website, Ben is the wonderfull guy who hosts this site. There will be more links put up later on.

05/02/02 - 7:06 PM - As promised here is a black and white still of the robot landing on the road, keep in mind it is untextured it's just to give an idea of the effect I'm goin for. Entry Crater B+W.

05/02/02 - 3:48 PM - Wells it is a new month so all the posts from April have been moved to the archive page. I wish I had some more updates on top of the recent landing scene I posted on 4/30 but I've had alot of work to do lately so it'll have to wait till next week. I only have about 20 more days of classes left so I probably won't be doin much to the project till summer time but who knows I may just surprise you. Otherwise you'll see more updates towards the end of may. In the mean time enjoy! PS I will probably be adding a B+W still shot of the landing if you aren't gettin the video.
