06/25/03 - 4:56 PM - While I don't have any new updates for the movie yet I do have some news and some photos. First the news. Dan and I will be revamping Relics probably fairly radicaly. Australia has probably given him alot of new ideas and I certainly have gotten some in the last 4 or 5 months. I think one of the major things we are going to do is change the visual style. Right now it is just generic animation and doesn't really have any emotion to it (as far as I'm concerned). Basicly we are going to be trying to come up with a more distinct style, finalize teh script which probably include adding and removing things. Dan confided to me that he didn't expect to finish till we were out of college sooo it looks like that is the new deadline LOL. Hopefully or renewed effort will pick up steam and my other efforts I'm working on right now won't distract me too much. As for the other project which we were working under the title "Life Death" that is a lower priority to me then Relics simply because I have put alot of works into Relics and want to see it turn into somethign great. I think we have a better understanding of how we need to organize projects like this and hopefully it will go much more smoothly from this point. So after Dan gets resettled hopefully we can resume work in mid July. Until them I'm going to be trying to start selling some of my photos both on eBay and checking in local shop etc. I know not many people check this site but if you are interested in buying a photo contact me. I will also be making notecards, post cards, calenders, and other random photos stuff hopefully. I have to find the supplier I used a couple years ago. On that note I've added a few new photos. 06/05/03 - 2:50 PM - First new update for Relics of Creation is here hurah! Basicly this is a quick movie file about 10 sec that shows the untextured prototype of the large building on the right side of the street. This is what the building looks like in the "real" world i.e. the destroyed version. Before destruction and here is the video. I shrunk it down to about 5mb so there is a little artifacting at higher resolutions but it's just a prototype right. Destroyed city prototype video.

06/02/03 - 3:04 PM - It has been a very long time but that is because school really had me tied up especially at the end there. I'm hoping to start up work on the movie again I've been transfferring files over to the laptop so I can work on it elsewhere. Coupled with te hopefully forward progress on the movie I'm working on my book quite a bit. Hopefully I'll be able to get some updates and some more screen shots and movie clips up (which will be in quicktime most likely). It's difficult making forward progress since Dan (writer/director) is in Australia. But hopefully the time during summer will give me that little push I need to make some good progress.
